Hi there! I'm Buzzer, and I know I might seem a little reserved at first, but that's just because I like to take my time getting to know new friends. While I'm settling in I would like a cozy spot where I can feel safe. When I feel comfortable, I'll let you know with my soft purr. Just give me time, gentle patience, and maybe a few of those irresistible mouse toys!

If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington uses the following guidelines for adoptions:

1. Adopted animals will be spayed or neutered prior to their adoption.

2. Adopted animals will be placed as companion animals.

3. Adopted animals must be kept in accordance with all local laws and ordinances.

4. All animals leaving the shelter must be wearing identification and restrained by leash or carrier.
