UPDATE - Leavenworth, KS - Able, 3 year old male saint bernard needing a new home. Able was starved most of his life. He was a year ago 110 and now we have had him a handful of weeks at the foster home and he has gained weight and is WONDERFUL. He is putting on weight every week, visited the vet and had a complete exam. He got all his shots, a fecal, Nexguard Plus, bloodwork come back good and is getting neutered early Feb. 2025.
Despite all of that, he is a sweet boy who took about 24 hours to get relaxed in his fosters home. Now he is sleeping and happy and eating. We are getting him fattened up, vetted, including fecal, bloodwork and neutered. He is available to a home that has the love, time and experience of welcoming a rescued saint. He has been a perfect gentleman. He is good on a leash. His foster sister is an old english mastiff and he and she are good together. Able also met the neighborhood boy who came over to meet him and was great. Able is free to a loving, considerate, experienced family that have the time and devotion to give him a great rest of his life.
