My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wisp! Wisp along with her brother Willow(listed separately) came from a colony in Bensonhurst that was being taken care of by a 92-year-old man! Luckily, he was one of our rescuers neighbor and once she realized his situation, she got his entire colony TNRd and brought the kittens to us. He did such an excellent job in caring for them since they were little babies, the transition to the indoor life was pretty seamless! He was ecstatic that the kittens didn't have to spend another day outdoors!

Wisp is a very sweet and gentle girl. She may come off a bit shy at first but warms up fairly quickly with the help of some treats and her favorite mouse toy. She is looking for a home with a friendly cat who can help her feel confident in her new life indoors with humans. We know with a bit of patience and love, Wisp will turn into a snuggle bug in no time.

Wisp is about 5 months old, is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, treated for parasites and has tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you would like to meet this sweet round eyed girl , please fill out our adoption application here:

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
