Boo is a two year old mixed breed who was rescued on the streets of Puerto Rico. We believe he had previously been hit by a car because his front leg was hanging limp and he had no control over it at all. The vet recommended amputation and once the procedure was over Boo really started to blossom!
He does not know that he is any different and he can keep up with any other dog! He runs and plays and hops just like his 4- legged friends! He is very friendly with other dogs and loves kids! He was introduced to cats with no bad reaction, and was alittle afraid of them when they rubbed on him so we believe he could learn to be friends with them.
Boo will arrive in Albion, NY at the end of January and we would love to have a family waiting for him!
Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. There is an application which is required for initial approval, with personal references, and vet references. We may require a home visit, each adoption is different. We are easy to work with, friendly and try to fit the right pet in the right situation!
