Bilby was found near a store in the Terra Linda area. How he got around there is a mystery but fortunately he was found before any harm came to him. He's was overwhelmed by the activity at the shelter and wasn't eating as well as he should have been. So we sent him to foster home to have a quieter environment. There he has thrived and is eating more and more! Here's what his foster "mom" tells us about him:
Bilby is a very curious gp and I let him explore during breakfast. I have even seen him do the occasional" popcorn ". He has quickly learned to use a tray with paper for bathroom breaks when outside of his cage (that is one smart piggie!) While sitting on the floor with Bilby he enjoys being petted, brushed and will lay down . He'll hop over my legs and arms playfully with an occasional kiss. He's not yet comfortable being held. He squirms and is nervous. Each evening I envelope him in a big blanket and pet him on my lap to establish a routine. Overall he's a great piggie and will make a wonderful companion to his new family.
