Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Through no fault of her own, this little girl has been bounced around a few times, and luckily has now landed with us!
Heart is a very typical 4 month old puppy, and needs someone who understands what that means. She`s still exploring her environment with her mouth (sharp puppy teeth need to be redirected onto appropriate chewing toys), she wants to meet every person and animal she sees, and doesn`t yet know how to do that politely (picture jumping, barking, pulling), and she thinks everyone is meant to be her playmate (not a great fit for an elder cat who would rather not be pounced on)!
Heart is joyfully curious, loving to explore in our yards, bouncing and pouncing in the snow, and even though her last family brought her to Vermont from the south, she seems completely unfazed by the cold weather, and LOVES being outside!
Heart would do well with adults, children (with boundaries for both!), dogs, and cats (if the cat appreciates an active, playful puppy).
A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Heart`s $480.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about her, and to determine if you should meet Heart.
