Boba is a two-year-old terrier mix. Her owner calls her booboo most of the time. She loves hearing it like a little chant. Boba is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. She does Rollie pollies on the couch or bed when she’s excited and wants to play. She loves toys whether to rip up or gnaw on. She is 100% house and crate trained but can be trusted to be outside of a crate while not home. She does great with kids and understands cues well. She is a super cuddler and is great in the car.
Boba seems to get along with male dogs, but not other females. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog or with an older male dog.

Everyone that adopts must first fill out an application and get approved by our adoption team. We allow people to meet our animals to make sure it is the right fit along with letting their animals meet our animals as well as long as that animal meets the vetting criteria.

We are a non-profit and no-kill shelter in Rutherford North Carolina. We pull animals from animal control and take in animals from the community. We make sure everyone is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and put on something for fleas, ticks and heartworm prevention. We then place them up for adoption making sure they go into great homes.
