This adorable little guy is Nicky, a charming 10-year-old Chihuahua and Terrier mix weighing just 14 pounds. Due to his mom’s health issues, Nicky found himself needing a new home, and we were contacted by her caring nurses to help him find safety and love.
Nicky is a delightful companion who enjoys playing with toys and will happily fetch when he’s in the mood. He really likes to give the stuffies a good shake. Nicky would thrive in a home with a dog buddy his size to share adventures with. He would love a family where someone is home most of the time to keep him company.
Nicky is already house-trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He has been heartworm tested and microchipped, and he just had a dental cleaning, so he’s ready for his next chapter!

We require and adoption application that involves reference checks and vet checks. We require a home visit and an adoption contract. Our adoption fee is $200 for most dogs. Prior to adoption all of our dogs have all the vaccinations appropriate for their age, are spay/neutered if over 4 months old, microchipped and heartworm checked if over 12 months of age.

We are an all foster based organization to promote the general well-being of all breeds of dogs. We take in all breeds and ages of dogs, provide them healthcare and training and adopt them to screened applicants that will be their forever homes. We also promote training and education about dogs.
