My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI! My name is Elsa. I am not from the movie FROZEN, even though I think the snow would be fun!

I am from the south. Me and my sister are looking for our own furever home. I am only 9 months young. Me and my sister found ourselves without our hoodad and NBRAN was nice to take us both in since we are part Brittany from our mom, and our furdad was a lab.

I have the best foster mom who has been working with me since I’m still a puppy. She has crate and potty trained me. She is teaching me to walk on a leash. When we go for a walk, I like to talk to people, dogs and cats and tell them hi! I will need a physical fence of at least 4 feet.

I have been spayed and UTD on all my shots and HW preventative.

I love to cuddle and snuggle on the couch and give the best kisses! I am a happy girl laying in the yard and enjoying a bone. I do enjoy chasing balls and watching the birds and squirrels too.  I have played with a variety of dogs and get along with them.

Me and my sister Anna are not bonded, and we would prefer to have our own family!

If you think I would be a good fit for each other, please contact www.nbran.org to submit an application. My adoption fee is 350.00

I am currently located in Georgia however, if you would love to make me a part of your family, NBRAN will transport up to 1400 miles.

If any questions please contact neca227@gmail.com or amypgay@gmail.com or karliebreana@gmail.com

More about this rescue

National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a network of caring and dedicated volunteers who have a deep passion for dog rescue and specifically the homeless Brittany, affectionately called a "Britt."

There are currently about 60 dogs available for adoption. You can view all the dogs or search by specific attributes on our "Available for Adoption" page.

Adopting a pet pays you back ten fold. If you are not able to adopt, volunteers are always needed to help transport or foster a pet. You may also choose to donate to this effort on our Donate Now page. All donations are tax deductible!

Once called "the Brittany Spaniel," the AKC has officially changed their breed name to "the American Brittany." A Brittany retains a puppy-like quality in their personality and are gentle, clownish, active dogs. They are great family dogs.

The number of dogs available for adoption varies from month to month. Some of our available Britts or Britts in need are shown below.
