Dahlia’s Bio

Meet Dahlia, a sweet and lovable puppy with a unique and stunning coat that might appear black at first glance, but upon closer inspection, you’ll notice the rich, warm shades of brown woven throughout—truly a beauty to behold. Dahlia is the perfect balance of playful and laid-back, making her an ideal companion for a variety of households.

While she enjoys playing with other dogs and kids, Dahlia is on the calmer side and is content to lounge nearby when playtime winds down. She’s still a little unsure about the snow and cold weather—this is her first experience with it, and she’s taking her time to adjust to the chillier temperatures. But when it comes to snuggling up inside, she’s in her element. Dahlia loves being held and cuddled, and will melt your heart with her soft gaze, always wanting to be close to you.

As a young puppy, Dahlia is still learning her manners. Potty training and crate training are in progress, but she’s a quick learner and eager to please. Her gentle nature and affectionate personality make her the perfect addition to any family looking for a sweet, loving companion who knows how to balance energy with calm.

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
