My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

May and Finn were born in May of 2024. They are easy-going cats. They are bonded and are available for adoption together. They cuddle together during their naps and occasionally groom each other. They take turns eating from the same food bowl and playing with toys. Both cats greet their foster mom with inquisitive sniffs each time they see her. True to their age, they are curious and like to explore new items through smell and play. They have great litter box habits.

Finn is the braver of the two. He loves to play with a felt wand toy. Finn sometimes hides and then charges across the room to pounce on his favorite toy during interactive play. When relaxed, he lays on his back with his belly up. Finn purrs and rubs his body up against his foster mom when a meal is served. He accepts a few gentle pets at meal time.

While May is slightly more hesitant than her brother at first, she loves to get in on the action. May loves wand toys and balls. She likes to dip her paws in water. She is generally quiet, but will occasionally meow. May is still warming up to people and is not interested in being petted at this time. However, she is curious about people and comes right up to her foster mom.

Finn and May are seeking a home that will allow them time to develop increasing comfort with their adoptive family. They were born outside to a community cat before entering foster care and are making great progress with adjusting to people. This docile duo will contentedly nap on the couch near their foster mom. They are always up for a game and are building trust through interactive play. They would do best in a home with adults or older children who consistently respect Finn and May’s boundaries.

Finn and May are being fostered in Catonsville, Maryland (Baltimore County).

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
