Meet Calliope! Callie is a kitten so wonderful and full of personality, her foster family almost kept her! Callie loves cuddling with her cat and dog siblings and humans alike, loves pets, treats, and chasing after toys. She will frequently carry her favorite toys around with her (mostly springs and toy mice), but also loves sparring with her cat siblings. She is a keen cuddler and loves a soft blanket to suckle on before snoozing. Callie is full of personality and sass, but is really just a very smart and sweet girl.

She would do best with at least one friend, but is independent enough to be on her own with a human family. She gets along with small cat friendly dogs, cats, older kids, and all humans. She will take a few days to warm up to new animal friends, but it won’t be long until she’s playing with your slippers and curling up beside you. She enjoys sleeping with her humans, as well.

Adoption fees range from $80 to $100. The adoption fee covers the cost of spay or neuter, vaccinations, medical exam, worming and flea prevention. All cats and kittens are cared for in various foster homes.

All other cats are in foster care and a meet and greet can be arranged upon application approval.

More about this rescue

My New Cat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity dedicated to finding forever homes for homeless cats and kittens. All donations are used for the cats. There are no paid officers, employees or volunteers. We rely on foster homes to shelter and care for the cats so we are always looking for qualified foster homes.
