Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I'm Bear or Teddy Bear. I am a lovable loaf of a teddy "bear," who lives up to my name with my warm and playful personality. A former tomcat, I will charm you with the softest and most polite little meows asking for attention and love.
Pets, hugs, and snuggles are very much welcomed! Pick me up, and I will melt in your arms. With me, you will never come home to an empty house; I will be the first at the door to welcome you home. And you will have a permanent cuddly teddy "bear."
I may be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I will quickly show you my sweet & affectionate nature. You'd never know from my loving spirit that I was rescued from near death after weeks of nearly starving and being dehydrated, trapped in a house with a missing owner. But passers by risked their lives to save mine and get me to safety.
I am a FIV+ warrior - FIV weakens a cat's immune system rendering us cats more vulnerable to infections, but with proper care (indoor life only, clean food & water, etc.), we can live long healthy lives with similar lifespan to non-FIV cats. And it's only passed by deep bite wounds, so have no fear. I'm a gentle guy and get along well with all my kitty siblings (FIV+ and non-FIV).
I can't wait to show love in my forever home and be the cutest and most cuddly teddy bear you've ever had! Take me home today!

Additional adoption info
All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.
Our adoption fee of $125 for adult cats and kittens covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.
