There are special dogs in this world. You know them when you meet them. Just like people,Kaye they are all special for their own reasons. Our blue eyed Kaye is a former mama dog that had several litters before she was two years old. Down in a very rural area of Tennessee, we had apparently helped an earlier litter get adopted out after they were found on an isolated country highway. They looked exactly like her, but yet we did not know who or where she was yet. Six months later, Kaye was discovered by an older couple that had found the previous puppies, and she was very pregnant again. We are adopting those puppies out now and they are precious like their mom. Blue Eyed Kaye probably had never had fun in her life until she came in to our foster care. Now she's having the time of her life. She's able to play and be loved and have fun. Being a stray for most of your life and having litter after litter of puppies with nowhere to go, is pretty sobering. Her beautiful blue eyes now dance with joy and delight as she plays with the resident foster dog who is half her size. Kaye is a Border Collie, Aussie and Pointer mix. She is around two years old and 47 pounds. This girl learned the doggy door within hours of arrival and she definitely hates crates. GOOD NEWS IS.... when left out during the day, she does not destroy a thing. She is very respectful. This girl has just the right energy for playfulness, and then chill time. She loves all creatures and would be a great family companion who would be wonderful with children. She can live with other dogs or cats. Or she could be a single family pet. All Kaye wants is love. If you have all the special ingredients for making her life the most fairy tale ending ever, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. She is ready for her Prince Charming family to come along and sweep her off her feet.
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region. Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.
