My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Pinta

She is the sweetest girl, she just takes a little bit to trust you. Give her some space to smell you and she’ll shower you with kisses. She also does a little paw wave when she’s ready for your attention.

Pinta is a Jack Russel terrier mix born in May of 2024. She’s still a puppy who loves to play occasionally. She will need guidance from her new family for kennel, potty and leash training.

Pinta gets along with all sized dogs and humans. We are unsure with cats. She is current on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
