I'm Bluesy, a super sweet girl who loves to rub against you with my gorgeous blue grey coat. Found in rough shape in the middle of a field with thorns stuck in my eye and coat, I was stumbling for help. Luckily, a nice lady came to my rescue. My eye healed with no permanent vision damage (although sometimes it looks like I’m winking at you…and I am…it’s part of my charm!) and my coat returned to its shiny blue grey state (hence my name, Bluesy).
While my gorgeous fluffy coat gives me the dignified Russian Blue look, I am primarily known for my delightful personality. My fosters say that I'm as sweet as can be and like to call me Mimi (I’m also called Sweetie, Cutie, Cutiepie…I am happy to answer to anything that gets me more cuddles:). I now fill my days rubbing up against my humans, leaning in for cuddles and snuggles (often referred to as the Bluesies). I'm friendly, gentle, and lovingly kind with my fosters and other cats too. So if you have cats, I’ll fit right in.

All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.
Our adoption fee of $125 for adult cats and kittens covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.

We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding permanent loving homes for as many abandoned, homeless, and stray animals as we can. Texas has comparitively higher number of homeless pets than other US States.
