Pocket is a very friendly girl that just wants a warm hug and plenty of love. She gets along with other animals and is happy to meet people and kids. She shares a kennel with her sister Polly. She is vaccinated and walks great on a leash. Pocket will bring so much happiness into her new family and home!

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
