My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bob Newhart once had a family but was cruelly abandoned by them. He had a rough life, being chased off the street, bullied by other community cats, and starved to skin and bones. When we rescued him, Bob's leg was terribly broken and needed to be amputated. Despite his hardships, Bob is kind, sweet, and smart. He still loves people so much and likes to give head bumps and ask for head scratches. He's healed wonderfully and is enjoying life as a tripod in his loving foster home!

Bob Newhart is around 5years old and is neutered, FeLV negative, FIV positive, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is affectionate, cuddly, friendly, gentle, and independent.

Verification of veterinarian and personal references as well as Landlord (if applicable).

Meet the Pet

After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Adoption Fees (without the 50% off discount):

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
