Name: Jazz It Up
Animal ID: 569368
Gender: Male
Age: 18 years old
Breed: Saddlebred
Height:
Adoption Fee: $300
Location: Hempstead
Adopter experience needed: Intermediate
Training level: Halter broke
Current assessment and personality: Jazz It Up is a recently castrated gelding. He is sociable and kind, but can still be a little mare-motivated. He gets along well with other geldings in our care and would do best in a home where he could have a friend. Jazz enjoys interacting with people but can sometimes be a little anxious, which is why we believe he would be a good fit for an intermediate adopter who can reassure him and allow him how to relax and show his true personality.
Potential: Companion/pasture pet only. Cannot be ridden.
Health/lameness: Jazz It Up has some conformational/arthritis defaults that are non life threatening & require no maintenance, however they prevent him from being able to be ridden. He is being adopted out as a companion only & is pasture sound. He also came to us with a fractured tooth that was badly infected. The tooth has been removed, however, he is still in the healing process.
Loads and Trailers: Yes
Leads: Yes
Catch in pasture: Yes
Stands for farrier: Yes
Ties: Yes
