My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Koda!

Koda is a sweet and spunky 5-year-old spayed female pup with a playful personality that will instantly win you over. We've had the joy of loving her for the past few years, and she’s proven herself to be the perfect companion for a loving, dog-savvy home.

This well-mannered lady is house-trained, dog-door trained, and knows a few basic tricks. She’s a dream in the home—she never chews on furniture or shoes, stays off couches and beds, and doesn’t bolt out the front door. She’s also super easygoing, happy to lounge at your feet or join you for a fun adventure.

Koda adores people and does wonderfully with older kids who can match her fun-loving energy. However, she would prefer to be the only pet in the home as she isn’t a fan of other dogs or cats.

She’s microchipped, up to date on her rabies vaccine, and ready to give you endless love and loyalty.

If you’re looking for a playful, well-trained, and affectionate companion who will be your one and only, Koda is your girl! 🐾❤️ Please email katieskinner334@gmail.com for an application.

Sweet Koda is a courtesy post through Valley Dogs Rescue.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.

Go meet their pets

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
