My name is June!

Hi there! I`m June, a fun-loving Shepherd/Husky mix with a soft beige and white coat and a heart full of curiosity. At about 1 to 1.5 years old, I’m still young and eager to explore the world (maybe a little too eager sometimes).

My story started when I wandered up to a kind senior citizen’s home and decided to stay. She took care of me for three weeks, but because of my size and the chilly weather, she knew I needed a better chance at finding a forever home, so she brought me to this animal shelter on January 13, 2025.

I might be a bit reserved when I meet new people, but give me a little time, and I’ll warm up to you with my sweet personality. Oh, and I have a bit of a mischievous streak—just yesterday, I found an open window and decided to test my inner adventurer! (Don’t worry, the staff caught me quickly thanks to my love of treats.)
