My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Elsa, a stunning 35 lb beagle-husky mix with striking icy blue eyes. Elsa is on the search for her forever home, and while she’s come a long way since her rescue, she’s still learning how to navigate a world that was once unfamiliar to her.

Elsa likely spent much of her life as an outdoor dog, so everyday experiences like car rides, leash walks, and meeting new people can be intimidating for her at first. But thanks to her dedicated foster, Elsa is making great strides in socialization and growing more comfortable every day.

She absolutely flourishes around other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion in her forever home. Elsa is also very gentle with cats and has shown herself to be playful and kind.

Although she hasn’t lived with children, we believe older kids, especially those who understand her nervous nature, would be a better match.

Elsa is both kennel and potty trained. She enjoys the peace and comfort of her kennel when feeling overwhelmed, which helps her feel secure in new situations.

Elsa is ready for a patient, understanding family who will continue to help her learn that the world can be a wonderful place, one step at a time. If you’re ready to show Elsa the love and safety she deserves, reach out to us!
