Lena is a 12-week-old puppy with a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes. Weighing in at 17 pounds, she’s a short and stocky little ball of sweetness that’s sure to steal anyone’s heart. With her gentle embrace and calm demeanor, she’s a perfect companion for families with kids or other pets. Lena is still at that perfect age to be easily socialized, making her an ideal addition to any home. As she grows, she’ll stay a medium-sized pup, continuing to bring joy and warmth to those lucky enough to share their lives with her.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.

We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

Go meet their pets

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

The Hill Country SPCA was chartered as a 501(c) (3) non profit organization in the state of Texas in October, 1997. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events. We are not supported by tax dollars.
