My name is King!

King has been with us since 2015. He was originally my sister’s pet. My sister passed away and King was with my mom who now has Alzheimer’s disease. King was very close to my mom and is having separation anxiety. He has been a little hard to care for since he has been away from my mom and he needs constant attention. We would like him to be with someone who has experience with dogs with special needs. King will need a loving owner who is compassionate and patient. He loves to run and play with his toys although he is an older dog, King tends to be more relaxed during the day. He’s not a big eater but he does love pup cups and riding in the car. King does have some issues with tinkling indoors due to anxiety since he has left my mom, so he would need to be walked frequently.
King doesn’t mind being dressed up in cute clothes either. He is a very loyal companion once he gets to know his owner but he loves attention. My hope is that King finds a loving forever home.
