My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, Future Family!

My name is Flava, and I'm in search of my forever home—a place where I can love, be loved, and bring joy to my new family. Let me tell you a bit about myself from my perspective!

First of all, I'm a one-of-a-kind designer mix, with the charm of a Schnauzer and the elegance of a Poodle. The folks at the pound called me a Schnauzer mix, but those who know me think I might be more of a fancy Poodle mix breed. I have hair instead of fur, which means less shedding—a big win for you! I did have a bit of a haircut mishap recently, leaving me with a rather unique look, but don't worry, my stylish locks will grow back, and with your help, I can rock a regular grooming routine.

I've been around other dogs, and while it might seem like I haven't mingled much, I absolutely love making new furry friends. I'm also indifferent to those feral cats at the rescue, so there's a good chance I'd get along with your feline family members, too.

Here's where it gets even better: I stayed over with one of the volunteers, and let me tell you, I was on my best behavior! No accidents inside, great in a crate, and I walked like a pro on a leash. I even passed the kid-friendly test with flying colors at an adoption event—kids are awesome!

I promise to be a great companion, bringing love and joy into your home. If you think we could be the perfect match, please email mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment to meet me. I can't wait to meet you and start our new adventure together!

With love and tail wags, Flava

P.S. I'll be the perfect, fluffy addition to your family!
