Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Hazel, a beautiful almost 3 year-old chocolate Lab mix weighing 64 pounds. Hazel came to us under heartbreaking circumstances after her primary caregiver passed away, but she’s ready to start a new chapter filled with love and happiness.
Hazel is a charming “doggie doorbell” who will alert you to packages and visitors. This sweet girl is happiest when playing fetch for hours or gently holding your hand. While she may bark when someone new enters her space, a treat quickly wins her over, and she’ll shower you with affection.
Hazel loves taking walks with her doggie foster brother. She walks well on leash however she may stop to roll around and play on lawns.
Hazel adores her people and enjoys nothing more than curling up in the human bed for a cozy night’s sleep. She’s highly food motivated (she’d happily eat five bowls of kibble if you let her!) and responds well to treats during training.
This “passenger princess” also loves car rides and is the perfect travel companion. Though Hazel is slower to warm up to new people and dogs, she just needs a little patience to show her adorable personality. Hazel will thrive with patient adopters. She's a sweet and gentle soul.

Hazel's adoption fee is $600

We rescue dogs and place them in foster homes until they are ready for adoption. We vaccinate, spay/neuter, microchip, and provide any additional care such as surgery or rehabilitation. We help each dog get ready to be placed in a happy forever home.
Potential adopters are asked to complete an online adoption application and may be visited by one of our volunteers to do a home interview. We aim to find the best fit for each dog's needs.
Our adoption fees range between $400-$1,000 for domestic dogs and those from Mexico. Dogs are assigned an adoption fee based on several factors such as age, breed, health and behavior, amongst others.
For our international dogs from overseas, adoption fees range $800-$2,000. International adoption fees are higher due to the travel and boarding costs, as well as the above-mentioned factors for domestic dogs. These dogs stay in their country of origin for weeks, or sometimes months, prior to being able to travel.
