My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jane is 6 yrs of age. She was surrendered to us due to allergies. She has not been socialized very much with people or pets. At first she would bark/bay at new people or pets she meets.  She's very loving.  She's smart. She wants to please her pawrents. She gets upset when she does something bad. She has separation anxiety.  We have had other people and dogs come visit. Jane didn't bark or howl. She knows how to get out the doggy door. Not in yet. She's really a great dog. Someone retired or working from home would be perfect for her.  If she hears something that she doesn't know. She's definitely barking.

Adoption fee is $275 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..

We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.

Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62.

For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at http://www.southernnevadabeaglerescue.com . We are also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SouthernNevadaBeagleRescueFoundation . Come meet and play with our available dogs at Las Vegas area dog parks. Times and locations can be found at http://www.meetup.com/beagles-207/ . Contact us or check our Facebook updates ahead of time if you are interested in meeting a particular dog. All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups.

Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Beagle enthusiasts, come bay with us..... AROOOOOOOOOOOO!

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue Foundation (SNBRF) is a 501c3 nonprofit rescue dedicated to the rescue of Beagles, beagle mixes and other little dogs and education about responsible dog and puppy ownership. We provide rescue and adoption services primarily in Las Vegas, Henderson, and the rest of Clark County Nevada and find permanent homes for dogs who have been surrendered by their owners or who have been abandoned or abused. Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue Foundation does not house dogs and puppies in a shelter as in many rescue groups. Our dogs are cared for in healthy, safe and loving foster home environments.
