EXTREME PUPPY CUTENESS ALERT!

Say hello to PEBBLES, an adorable 4 month old 10 pound puppy looking for a home. She’s a beagle mix, probably beagle/basset hound. We expect she will be 20-25 pounds when fully grown. Pebbles is fun and playful and loves her stuffy toys. She’s housebroken, crate trained and good with kids, cats and other dogs. Pebbles is a typical busy puppy. She needs a home with another friendly dog. Pebbles needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep her from following her beagle nose into trouble. She's not well-suited to apartment/condo living. If you’d like to meet Pebbles, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

Our adoptable adult dogs go to prospective homes for a one week foster-to-adopt trial period.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Upon completion of foster-to-adopt period, balance of adoption fee is paid, contract is signed and adoption is completed.

DOGS

We have two ways to adopt a dog:

1) Foster to adopt. You are permitted to take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week at your home. We can loan you a wire crate for the trial period. This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then the following weekend you can finalize the adoption at one of our adoption events. If no, then you return the dog to us at one of our adoption events and you are welcome to try a different dog. You will need to complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit. The deposit will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption.

2) Outright Adoption. If you're sure you've found the right dog, you complete the necessary paperwork, pay the adoption fee in full (cash, check, or credit card only) and take the dog home. You receive all the dogs health records that we have available to us.

Our dog adoption fee is $225 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies. Fee INCLUDES: the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.

Sweet Dream House Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer, all breed animal rescue. We utilize a network of foster homes to house our adoptable dogs and cats.

Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, to spay/neuter, vaccinate and provide any needed medical care until they are adopted into loving homes. We are often the rescue of last resort, waiting until other rescues select from the euthanasia lists to rescue those that are not selected.
