Quick Facts
My Story
Hi there! My name is Jinsun, and I’m a 5-year-old Jindo mix with a lovely white coat. I weigh about 14 kg (31 lbs), and while my exact height is still to be measured, I’m the perfect medium-sized companion. I was rescued from a neglectful situation in Eungam-dong and have blossomed into a sweet, gentle dog ready for a new chapter in life.
My Personality
I’m a calm and kind-hearted pup with an easygoing temperament. I might be a little shy at first, but with the help of a tasty treat, I’ll warm up to you in no time. Once we’re friends, I love gentle pats and cuddles, and I’ll even let you pick me up if needed. I’m friendly with children and have shown patience and acceptance around kids under 13, making me a great family dog.
My Social Side
When it comes to meeting other dogs, I’m polite and approachable. I’ll greet dogs of all sizes, from smaller companions to those my own size. While I don’t usually engage in play with new friends, I enjoy their company and handle myself well in social situations. I haven’t had much experience with cats, but I tend to get curious about birds, so supervised introductions might be a good idea if you have a feathered friend at home.
Energy Level & Activities
I have a moderate energy level, which means I enjoy outdoor activities and walks but also appreciate downtime to relax. On walks, I might get excited and pull on the leash a bit, but I generally follow along well. My curious nature means I enjoy exploring my surroundings and sniffing out new scents, but I settle down easily after exercise. Whether we’re out and about or resting at home, I’m happy to match your pace.
At Home
I’m a gentle soul who doesn’t guard food or toys and gets along well with other pets. I’m comfortable in a kennel and stay quiet and calm when resting there. I’m also flexible with my bathroom habits, as I’m used to both outdoor potty breaks and indoor pad training. That said, I’ll benefit from continued house training and learning the routines of home life—I’m eager to learn and adapt!
What Makes Me Special
Everyone says I’m one of the calmest and most social dogs from my rescue group. I have a “classic Jindo” personality—loyal, independent, and smart—but with an extra dose of gentleness. I’m incredibly sweet and have no problems with people or other dogs. My warm, peaceful presence makes me an ideal match for someone looking for a quiet, loving companion.
