Meet Walker – The 80-Pound Pyredoodle Full of Love and Hugs!

Walker is an incredible Pyredoodle with a heart as big as his size! At 80 pounds, this sweet boy is a gentle giant who just wants to share his love with the world—literally. Walker has a unique way of showing affection: he gives the most heartfelt hugs! Unfortunately, not everyone appreciates a hugging dog, and Walker found himself in a high-kill shelter before being adopted by a family who gave up on him in less than 24 hours.

We all know that a dog who hugs deserves to be cherished, not abandoned. Walker has so much to offer:

Smart and Well-Trained: Walker knows all his basic commands, is great on a leash, and is crate trained.

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
