Meet Lila – The Sweet and Playful Chihuahua Ready for a Fresh Start!

Lila is a 2-year-old Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a personality that blossoms once she feels safe and secure. While she may be shy and reserved when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her sweet and playful side to shine through. Lila absolutely adores affection and will happily curl up with you for some quality cuddle time once she knows she can trust you.

This precious girl was deeply loved by her young mom, who did her very best to care for her despite challenging circumstances. Unfortunately, the rest of the family wasn’t supportive of Lila being there, and finances were tight. Her mom shared what little she had, feeding Lila cat food, which sadly made her very sick. Wanting the best for her beloved pup, her mom made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her so Lila could receive the care she desperately needed.

Lila is now on the mend, healthier than ever, and ready to find the forever home she deserves. She would thrive in a calm and patient environment where she can continue to build her confidence and feel cherished. The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
