Dog's Name: Baby Copper (COP0125ALAMD)
Estimated Breed: Beagle mix
Approximate Age: 14-16 weeks
Approximate Weight: 13 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi, I'm Baby Copper! I'm the most amazing boy ever. Somehow, I ended up in an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. The shelter is a scary place for a little pup like me. Fortunately, I have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and I'm now on the hunt for my forever home. Could that be with you? I'm sweet, friendly, loving and loads of fun. I just love making new human friends, I shower them with kisses. I'm also a big fan of other dogs. I love them too! At my young age, I'm in my prime for training and socialization. I'm eager to learn and please. I will make a great addition to just about any home. I can't wait to meet you, submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
