Meet Wendy! Wendy is a spirited 7-month-old Hound mix weighing 28 lbs, ready to bring endless energy and love into her forever home. This playful girl thrives on activity and would do best with someone who can provide 1-2 walks daily or lots of outdoor playtime to help her burn off energy. She’s learning her puppy manners and already knows “sit.” Wendy is working on commands like “inside,” “drop it,” and “wait,” and she’s making great progress. She’s a quick learner and sits politely for meals, waiting for the “go ahead” to start eating. Wendy is crate-trained for short periods while you’re out, showing no signs of separation anxiety or chewing. However, she’ll happily let you know when you’re home and she’s ready to come out! She’s also house-trained, with only a few accidents in her early days.
This smart, social pup loves people and snuggling on your lap but might do best in a home with children 10+ or younger kids experienced with dogs, as her energy and occasional nippiness could be a bit much for little ones. Wendy enjoys walks (she’s working on her leash manners), playing with toys, and hanging out with other dogs. She also loves bananas, barking at outdoor noises, and curling up beside you at night. If you’re ready for a loyal, high-energy companion who’ll keep you on your toes and fill your life with love, Wendy is waiting to meet you! If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home. Hope to see you soon! https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application
My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives.
Thanks for considering adoption! *Information deemed reliable, but not guarenteed*
