Apollo is a shy but sweet soul who is still learning to trust people, but he’s making great progress! While he’s still a little nervous and hissy at times, he’s starting to show his affectionate side. The key to Apollo’s heart is wet food—offer him some, and you’ll quickly earn his trust.

Once he feels comfortable, Apollo melts for chin, neck, head, and cheek scratches. He hasn’t been picked up yet, but that’s next on the list as he continues to come out of his shell. Recently, he even almost showed his belly—a huge milestone for this timid boy!

With patience, love, and plenty of tasty meals, Apollo is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Could you be the one to help him shine?

Additional adoption info

We require adopters to fill out a short adoption application online. A printed form is available upon request. Once the form is filled out we will process your application which can take up to one week. Once this is completed we schedule a home visit. All animals are spayed/neutered, UTD on all vaccines, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Storms Angels was created in honor of my first dog Queen Night Storm. She was rescued from a puppy mill. She ended up becoming Diabetic and then slowly lost her eyesight and hearing as she aged. Storms Angels saves companion animals in her honor. We focus on animals who are not considered adoptable. We work to rehabilitate these animals and place them into forever homes.
