My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mama Lilo!

She is finished nursing and raising her puppies (the Ohana Litter), and is ready to find a forever family to call her own!

Lilo is smaller in size weighing around 35-40lbs. She is sweet, affectionate, and loving pup who has a zest for life and endless happiness! Rescued from a cold, vacant house just days before giving birth to six adorable puppies, Lilo has shown nothing but resilience and love despite her challenging past. We are blown away by how quickly she adjusted to her new life full of warmth and care. It didn’t take long for this beautiful girl to reveal her true nature — a bundle of joy who craves companionship and affection from everyone she meets.

She is the epitome of friendliness! She adores spending time with her human and dog foster family members and is always eager to share cuddles, receive praise, and show off her happy tail. Her loving nature extends to kids, too — she’s amazing with children of all ages! She’s also incredibly social with other dogs once they’ve had a proper introduction, and though we haven’t seen her with cats yet, we believe she’d adjust well with a gradual introduction.

Lilo is a quick learner and already knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” When it’s time for a walk, she’s absolutely thrilled — jumping for joy at the thought of an adventure! She walks well on a leash, whether by herself or alongside other dogs, and while she’s still getting used to new walking routes, she’s always eager to return home with you. Lilo is doing well with postpartum potty training but will use a potty pad when she is unable to go outside.

This sweet girl is also quite the little “Type A” personality! Lilo is crate/pen trained and enjoys keeping her space neat and tidy. She even goes so far as to arrange her toys and blankets just the way she likes them, and she's always sure to wipe her feet before entering her space. In fact, Lilo LOVES a good shower and has been known to run upstairs to the bathroom when she’s in the mood to get warm and clean — such a little self-care queen!

Lilo would be an ideal companion in a home where she can shower you with affection and receive the same in return. She’s adaptable to routines and loves being part of the family. Whether it’s snuggling up for a movie night or taking a walk around the neighborhood, Lilo will be your most loyal and loving sidekick. Ideally, she would love to go to a home where someone is home more often than not or is willing to take her on adventured with you.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when she has healed from birth, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
