My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“A happy heart makes everything feel lighter.” - Peanuts Comics

Good grief, can you believe how adorable this trio of puppies are? Meet Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Peppermint Patty. At three months old, these playful siblings are full of energy, curiosity, and love. They came from bustling Austin to try their luck at finding a forever home in San Antonio, Texas!

As Kelpie mixes, you can expect an intelligent, driven, and playful companion out of one of these pups. They will need an active family ready to teach them all the basics, as their breed is known to be intelligent and driven. As a whole, Kelpies are loyal dogs who will do anything to please their humans. They’re friendly and affectionate, making them suitable for a bustling family lifestyle. So, are you ready to get one of these kiddos out of the doghouse?

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
