My name is Riley!

Please welcome Riley back to SAAP. She was adopted several years ago but sadly her adopter passed away. The family took Riley and her fur sibling Lilly to the county shelter. SAAP’s motto is “Once a SAAP dog, always a SAAP dog!” So of course SAAP went to pick up Riley from the shelter so that we could find her a new furever home. When the driver saw how sad and upset Lilly was when Riley was leaving, she worked with SAAP to get Lilly into SAAP as well! Both pups were placed in separate foster homes to ensure that they were not bonded. 

Fast forward to today, both Riley and Lilly are in their foster homes and are thriving! They can be adopted out separately to start their new journey!

Riley is super sweet and pretty quiet! She is totally adorable too! I think she has a Corgi body with Aussie Cattle fur and stunning blue eyes! She has been great with the other dogs in the house (male and female - ranging from 14 pounds to 80 pounds). She also ignores the resident cat. She is house trained with routine potty breaks. Riley loves to follow you around so you will never be lonely!! And she will curl up next to you and groom you like one of the pack! She is the total package and has so much love to give!
