My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Microwave 🖤

This handsome boy was brought into the county shelter as a stray in November. We were overwhelmed with kittens at that time and unable to
pull any cats for a couple of months. Microwave was there for a week and then was returned to field (RTF) back to the address he was found.

Lucky for Microwave, he found a kind human who fed him, kept him on her porch at night, gave him toys, and spent time with him. She reached out to us to help find him a home and we were happy to go get him.

Microwave was neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped at the county shelter, but he did not get flea medicine, dewormer, or tested for FIV and feline leukemia. We will be taking care of those needs for him and then he will be ready to find a safe, loving home 🏡

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
