This big boy is a cuddler. He greets us every morning by climbing up on our shoulders and giving us hugs. We call him our teddy bear because he lets us carry him around while he purrs up a storm and closes his eyes.

Yogi’s quirky way of communicating is with soft growls. He is learning to use his voice to get our attention, like the other kitties in store. He is getting used to the daily routine so he patiently sits and waits for attention, treats and mealtime.

We think that he’d do best as an only cat as he loves getting all of our attention and is very food motivated. He would do best in home without young kids.

If you are looking for an affectionate companion who wants to curl up on the couch beside you, look no further.

Please fill out an Adoption Application found on our website www.ncwl.weebly.com. Once reviewed and approved, you will be asked to sign an Adoption Contract and send us an e-transfer for the adoption fee. We will then arrange a time for pick up.

More about this rescue

We are a small group of volunteers who are determined to help care for abandoned, neglected and unwanted cats in different areas around the Golden Horseshoe and from High Volume Shelters. This group of volunteers dedicates their time and energy with receiving only two rewards: great pride in rescuing cats and earning the satisfaction that they did a good thing.

We strive to rehabilitate and re-home most of the cats that come into our care. We use a hands on approach to help cats so they may become family pets. We ensure that each individual receives the special attention required to make this possible.

We are a no kill shelter and believe that all felines deserve another chance whether it is in a forever home or simply here with us at the facility.
