Hello Sedona,

My name is Lucky and I am a 1-year-old husky mix with mesmerizing blue eyes that could melt the coldest of winters! I am full of energy, curiosity and I have a undeniable zest for life. I adore long walks on hiking trails, playing in wide-open spaces where I can stretch my legs and let my husky spirit shine. Even though I am still young, I am eager to learn and would thrive with someone who can provide me with training, structure as well as plenty of love. My ideal home would include a big yard or regular outdoor adventures to match my lively personality and at the end of the day, I am just as happy to snuggle up for affection.

I am up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
