Location: RI
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Meet Gumby, a young, Rat Terrier mix with a heart full of love. He's the epitome of sweetness, with a goofy and cuddly side that will melt your heart. His gentle nature makes him a great companion, always ready to lend a comforting paw. Gumby is also playful and energetic, always up for a game of fetch or a romp in the park. He's a social butterfly, making friends with other dogs with ease. His friendly demeanor extends to everyone he meets, making him a delightful addition to any home.
House training, create training, and learning to walk on the leash are in progress and so far, so good, but he does need more practice. He is a smart boy and basic group training classes is recommended to help him learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you!
Adopting Gumby means gaining a loyal friend who will shower you with affection and brighten your days with his playful antics.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
