My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous, big chocolatey head is so kissable! Hershel is estimated to be about 2 years old and he is 55 pounds of love.

Hershel is a sensitive, attentive, and playful sweetie who can’t wait to be a part of a loving family. He just craves affection and loves to lean into you, what a snuggle bug. He is very engaged with you and can be a bit goofy too, which is the best! Hershel really likes soft toys and releases them with a soft mouth, good boy. With a playful and sometimes jumpy personality, Hershel will need his future owners to help build his confidence and teach him basic manners. He will need a leader who he can rely on. If you're looking for a very loving dog with a big heart, Hershel is the one for you! He will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Hershel would love to meet them. He has an excited approach with other dogs that moves into “all in” play. He also “checks in” with you, seeking direction.

If you are interested in Hershel and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you.

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats*
