Allanta is a 7 pound Maltese mix and is in need of a new home because his current owner no longer has enough time to care for him. His owner has supplied this information about him: Allanta is a really kind, sweet dog. I have had him for 8 years now and he has truly become part of our family. He just needs someone who can be home with him more. He is house trained but needs more frequent trips outside now that he is older; he would do great in a home with a backyard/doggie door. And someone to give him attention, preferably someone who is older/retired who can be home with him most of the day. He has arthritis in his back but gets around just fine. He takes medicine (meloxicam) every once in a while when it flares up (mostly in the colder months). He will come with everything from food, meds, beds, brushes, sweaters, treats and toys. He is your best friend as soon as you pet him and rarely ever barks unless he’s playing. He is quiet, loves napping under blankets and does fine with other small dogs of the same temperament. He is truly a lap dog to his core! I’m hoping to find him a home where he can get the attention he deserves.

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
