Meet Maximo, a 3-year-old energetic boy who loves to make new friends! From our volunteer observations, Maximo seems to enjoy rough and rowdy play with other dogs, spending time running around and having fun in the yard. This friendly pup often seeks attention from people, wagging his tail and trying to get pets whenever he can. While he may pull on the leash and sometimes get a bit too excited during play, Maximo is usually responsive to guidance. Come meet Maximo today!

Maximo is currently at risk due to DAS being overcapacity in our dog population. Maximo is beginning to show signs of kennel stress. We feel they would benefit from being placed into a home environment with an adopter, foster, or rescue partner.

Come visit us and meet our wonderful adoptable pets! All adoptions are first come, first serve. All pets in the shelter must be adopted in person at 1818 North Westmoreland Road.

You must be 18 years-old to adopt a pet.

When picking up your new pet, please bring your driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.
