Meet sweet ASTORIA, a long-haired solid black cat with a bit of a wonky right eye that makes it look like she’s squinting at you. It just makes her stand out in her uniqueness. Astoria is the perfect cat for someone looking for an easy-going companion, in a quiet home. She hit a bit of a rough patch, and was surrendered to the rescue after her owner could no longer care for her and is need of a calm, loving home to call her own again. She is independent and low maintenance. She likes looking out the window and perching someplace high for a nap. She also enjoys bumping up against people’s legs to get cuddles and pets. She starts out timid but warms up fairly quickly. She has a special eye that does get crusty occasionally and will need to be wiped, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. Astoria is an exceptionally rewarding cat to get to know and love, and would be a wonderful addition to the right home!
Astoria has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Astoria in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID 1905-C0131R
