Lily was brought into our home in 2021. We acclimated her well to our other cats, and things seemed to be going pretty well for the first few months.
Upon bringing her home, we were told by staff that she had issues with hair pulling. We took her to the vet, who prescribed us a special shampoo to bathe her in to help with this.
Unbeknownst to us, Lily’s papers stated that she was NOT good with other cats. We were absolutely heartbroken, as we had spent lots of time and money trying to fix what we thought was anxiety or behavioral issues. The staff failed to inform us of this, and eventually, Lily became fed up with her surroundings and started attacking us and our other cats.
She has started to pull her hair out again, mostly on her tail and around her back end. We have stretched ourselves thin with medical care, and cannot afford to give her the help she needs. We are beside ourselves.
We need to help her. She NEEDS to be in a home with no other cats.
