Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boy did Hinto fool us! This guy made himself out to be a cat who doesn't really care about us. Turns out, he just wasn't feeling the shelter vibes! He has totally relaxed and is now the kind of cat who leans his big, chubby-cheeked round head into our hands to get as many pets as possible. Often cats are uncertain and scared at the shelter so they don't show well. Which doesn't allow the world to see must how special they are. We are THRILLED Hinto decided to let us in! Come and meet this handsome boy today! And get ready to give LOTS of pets!

*Chicago Animal Care and Control is open for walk-in adoptions from 12 pm to 7 pm daily.

*If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30 pm.

*Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C & cat adopts until 7pm.

*The adoption fee for all dogs and cats is $65.

*You must be 18 years or older & have a valid government-issued photo ID
