My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Heath! This handsome pup is looking for a forever home where he can truly thrive. Though he’s not the biggest fan of shelter life, it’s clear that Heath has a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. With his stunning looks and kind nature, he’s sure to steal your heart. Heath is ready to leave the shelter behind and find a family who will give him the love and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a calm demeanor, Heath just might be the perfect fit!

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
