My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Binky!

Binky is a sweet, chill, and affectionate pup who thrives on companionship and attention. He’s crate-trained, settling down after a few whimpers to relax and enjoy chewing on his favorite bone. While he loves lounging and staying calm throughout the day, Binky also has playful bursts—especially when playing catch with his big stuffed baseball or squeaky blue bone.

This friendly boy loves meeting new people, soaking up cuddles, and resting his head on your lap. He's happiest when he's with someone, whether relaxing on the couch, joining you on a walk, or snuggling up in bed. Binky is incredibly quiet, rarely barking, and prefers being in the same room with his person while respecting their space.

Although easygoing, he can get a bit nervous with loud noises and prefers outdoor time with a buddy rather than solo adventures. Originally a stray from Louisiana, Binky faced euthanasia until a local foster pulled him and our partner stepped in to give this lovable dog the chance he truly deserves. Now he is enjoying the love and chilly weather WI has to give while he waits for a family !

If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s friendly, curious, and loves a mix of play and relaxation, Binky is ready to be your new best friend!

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
