Frankie is a 4-5 year old lab/hound mix! He was turned into the shelter as a stray when his family abandon him. Frankie weighs about 74 pounds.
Frankie is a gentle giant, always ready to show his affection through cuddles and kisses. His favorite activities are sleeping, sunbathing, watching TV and anything that involves laying down.
Frankie is a well-behaved on a leash, making walks an excellent opportunity for him to explore new places. He is a bright bot and though hasnt had any formal training, he's mastering basic like sit and stay! He is a treat motivated guy.
Frankie is good with dogs his size that match his energy. He is not fond of overly hyper dogs that dont understand he enjoys his own space. Frankie will need a cat free home.
Frankie is heartworm positive, but dont let that deter you. With the proper care and treatment, he can live a normal and happy life. All treatment will be covered by FOR. Until treatment is complete, Frankie must remain in the Huntsville Metro area.

All of our animals receive rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo vaccine, bordatella, microchip, and spay/neuter, as well as being kept current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. All of our dogs come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $450 covers their complete age appropriate vetting, as well as transportation to your area.
Our rescue doesn't have an actual facility in the New England area. Due to this it is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new owners weekly! Our transport service is certified through the USDA. We have a 14 day no questions asked money back guarantee and the dog can be returned to us if things do not work out. We try hard to make good matches with our animals and their adopters so that everyone has a happy life together! Our foster homes love the animals in their homes and will fully disclose everything about them – some can even Skype or send videos for you to see them in action.
